I am just an ordinary girl with all the wonderful ordinary things in an ordinary world. I am a Filipina, married. I also lived in Taiwan for 7 years since 2007. Second to Philippines, I love Taiwan. This country had made me understand more about the real culture of the chinese people. For now, I am currently living in Japan.

I love to travel. Before I left my homeland, I was an active backpacker and an outdoor enthusiast. My dream is to explore the Himalayas region, as well as Russia.

My husband and I have no kids yet…making us busy with our pets. We have two large breed dogs named Hikku and Lyka. Hikku is 75 percent pitbull. Lyka is a full breed labrador. They are our babies. Apart from that, we look into other animals, mostly birds. We have lovely turkeys, western and native chickens.

I love to collect stamps, letters and postcards.ย With all these advances in technology, I am still in love with the idea of sending post cards or holiday cards and hand-written letters to friends and strangers through the postal service instead of doing the quick, yet less-thrilledย emailing.

When I was young, around 13 years old, I started the hobby of collecting stamps and writing letters to anyone across the globe. Eventually, with the power of my romantic DNA (lolz), I tried writing novels in the Philippines.

I have been a member of postcrossing for years, but unfortunately, I became inactive due to busy schedules. However, I participated in some postcrossing groups in facebook and made swaps privately.

I don’t choose postcards at all. You can send me any postcards or letters of your choice. Looking forward to a happy postcrossing with you all…

But for those who still want to know my preferences, I like cards with the theme of:
* architecture
* bridges
* sceneries
* dogs, cats, horses

* any peculiar thing

If you have the same hobby as mine and want to exchange wonderful postcards (either bought from any store or you personally made and printed them…that’s not a problem), then keep in touch with me. I’d be very glad to receive more cards from around the world.

If you are interested for some postcard swapping, keep me postedย here.

or email me at:

Happy postcrossing pals!

  3. Hi, thanks for following my blog. I’m really enjoying coming across so many different people from different places, and learning about other ways of life. I hadn’t heard if post crossing, have come across book crossing and my son did an architecture project based on it as part of his BA course. Lovely idea!

  4. Thanks for following my blog! I love postage stamps and handwritten mail too and have been writing letters for over 40 years. I think it all started when my grandfather sent me postcards as he traveled around the USA. It’s National Letter-Writing Month here so I am writing a letter everyday in April. If you would like to receive one, let me have your address. ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. Mabuhay! Maraming salamat for following me. My mother was born and raised in Dagupan, Pangasinan and that is as far north as I’ve been.

    I travel a lot, and if you like I will be happy to send you postcards. I will e-mail you for your address. I probably have some I can send you that I bought just to scan for my travel photos and do not need now.

    If you like to see travel photos, my travel photo website is: (notice the first part is Tagalog):

    For now, it is only photos from after I bought a digital camera. Now that I am retired, I will scan photos from other trips and post them little by little.

    • Wow! Thank you so much. Maraming salamant too for dropping by here. I’ve read about your feature story on Rick Spencer. I was dearly touched. I also love to travel, though I still don’t have enough time to compile in one blog all the travel photos I kept. Maybe later. For now, I am in love with postcrossing. I appreciate it so much if you can send me some of your postcards. Cheers! ๐Ÿ™‚ God bless you.
